Harms Way - Positive Change
The Chicago Recovery Alliance
Harms Way chose this charity because we believe in the importance of reducing the problems that come with drug and alcohol abuse. As a band we believe in supporting organizations that focus on harm reduction and treatment of individuals who struggle with these life altering problems.
Suburban Scum - The Muscular Dystrophy Association
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases. Donations help fund worldwide research in attempts to find cures and to help improve the quality of life of people living with Muscular Dystrophy.

Live Shot Charity Tees: Strength for a Reason and Incendiary!

This months Live Shot Charity Tees: Strength For A Reason and Incendiary!

http://www.coldcutsmerch.com/collections/liveshotcharity

Strength for a Reason's shirt benefits the family of John Barlow. John was an important member of the Pennsylvania hardcore family and was a friend of many of us here at Cold Cuts. His passing in January left his wife and child with some financial difficulties. All proceeds from this shirt will help them.

Incendiary's shirt benefits the Huntington Disease Society of America

Huntington's Disease is a genetic brain disorder which effects muscle coordination and leads to cognitive decline. A close friend of the band has multiple family members battling with this disease. While Huntington's Disease currently has no cure, the HDSA is dedicated to both finding a cure as well as improving the lives of those currently afflicted with the disease.

Live Shot Charity Tees: Stife, Turnstile, and Expire!

We are very excited to bring you another installment of Live Shot Charity Tees.  This month: Strife, Turnstile, and Expire!

Here's a little about the causes:

Strife: Hope For Paws - http://www.hopeforpaws.org

Hope for Paws is a non-profit animal rescue organization, based in Los Angeles, California. They rescue dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters. HFP foster these animals in their home, cage free, until they can find them permanent, loving families. Their goal is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in society to stop the cycle of animal neglect and abuse.

Chad, Rick, and I all have dogs. Both of Rick's dogs are rescues as is Chad's dog. We chose Hope For Dogs as our charity to help dogs that are on the streets and in shelters get rescued and have the good life that they deserve.

Expire: The Wisconsin Humane Society - http://www.wihumane.org/
The Wisconsin Humane Society is a private nonprofit organization whose mission is to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness. Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for nearly 135 years. WHS operates shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Racine County. WHS is the largest shelter in the state of Wisconsin providing adoption programs, life saving medical care, a wildlife rehabilitation center, a pet food bank & so on
WHS is committed to providing protection, shelter and care for wild and homeless animals. Because of generous donors, they are able to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome thousands of animals every year. It's important to have places like this for people & animals to turn to when help is needed.

Turnstile: CECIS Hondruas -  http://www.ceciskids.org/events/contribute.php?id=1584

Half of profits will go to my sister and her trip to Honduras to help build a school for underprivileged. We chose this charity not only to support a family member trying to do something great,  but to also help the underprivileged youth in a developing country. The profits will go to building supplies, transportation, and other means to make the good act possible.

- Brendan & Turnstile

The other half will go toward the benefit of a close friend of mine who was recently diagnosed with cancer.  I chose this because just like with Brendan's sister. It feels even better to give the proceeds to someone doing something great that we can watch happen first hand.

My friend has a rare form of Leukemia. Called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Its a combination of Lymphoma and Leukemia. I don't really know what that means BUT long story short, its Cancer of the Blood. He was admitted into the hospital a few weeks back, and he's already on his second treatment of Chemo. Good news is he is tough and resiliant, and he's a fighter.
