In the early nineties Liar was a band that helped kick start the whole Metalcore genre within the HC scene, influencing many of todays current crop of heroes. The true Kings of Metalcore have now returned once again with their 5th studio album and first full length in 4 years and what a return it is. "Murder Manifesto" is an absolutely devastating album that twists and turns inflicting bludgeoning blows to the senses with it's furious attack of Metal. Ward and Matthius' dense guitars are like jackhammers as they crush you with their pummeling riffs and intricate melodies, whilst the drums are thunderous like a tank. The vocals from Hans are an undeniable part of what has become the Liar sound and the intensity with which Hans spews each line is filled with venom that no other can match. With a ferociously legendary live show in tow, Liar are a band that are unmatched in this genre and will once again prove why they reign their throne unmercilessly and with such power. In short, "Murder Manifesto" is an onslaught that will leave you warn out, physically beaten and yet begging for more.
